Season Preview Night at Perry’s (Hosted by The Perry Group)
Join The Perry Group for an opening reception at Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial as we kick off the 2026 season at 6:30 PM.
This members-only event offers a first look at what’s ahead, including Declaration 250 and updates on the monument construction project. It’s also a chance to connect with others who support Perry’s.

Perry Education Days (Hosted by National Park Service)
Perry Education Days return to Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial, giving students the chance to experience history where it happened.
Hosted by the National Park Service, this hands-on program includes interactive stations, War of 1812 demonstrations, and activities focused on Great Lakes history and nature.

Sneak Peek: World’s Largest Rubber Duck
Get an early look at the World’s Largest Rubber Duck before the full weekend display at Put-in-Bay. The Perry Group will offer a one-day Sneak Peek where visitors can see the giant inflatable artwork up close and preview what’s coming for the main event.

The World’s Largest Rubber Duck Weekend
The World’s Largest Rubber Duck is returning to Put-in-Bay for a full weekend display. This massive inflatable artwork—standing over 60 feet tall—will be available for visitors to view and photograph throughout the weekend. Stop by the display area to enjoy this fun, family-friendly attraction and take home a unique memory of your visit.

Declaration 250 Commemoration
Join the Perry Group and the Lake Erie Heritage Foundation for Declaration 250, a national event recognizing the true signing date of the Declaration of Independence—August 2, 1776. This historic program at Perry’s Victory & International Peace Memorial will feature living history, guest speakers, musical performances, and a ceremonial reaffirmation of the ideals that shaped our nation.

Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry’s Birthday Celebration
Join the Perry Group as we celebrate Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry’s birthday with an evening gathering at the Put-in-Bay Yacht Club. Guests can look forward to cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, birthday cake, and an engaging historical presentation highlighting Perry’s life and legacy.

Historic Weekend: Battle of Lake Erie Commemoration
Join us for Historic Weekend at Perry’s Victory & International Peace Memorial, held September 11–13, 2026, in honor of the 213th anniversary of the Battle of Lake Erie. This annual program features historic encampments, small arms and artillery demonstrations, performances, and a solemn flag retirement ceremony. A community parade will take place on Saturday at 2:00 PM, and the weekend concludes on Sunday with a wreath-laying ceremony to honor the battle’s enduring legacy.
