2026 Season Updates & Announcements
As we prepare for another meaningful year at Perry’s Victory & International Peace Memorial, The Perry Group is pleased to share several key updates for the upcoming 2026 season. Our mission remains rooted in preserving the legacy of Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, supporting educational programs, and engaging the public in the history that shaped our nation. Additional details will be announced as plans are finalized throughout the year.
Declaration 250 – August 1–2, 2026
In partnership with the Lake Erie Heritage Foundation, The Perry Group will help host Declaration 250, a national commemoration marking the true signing date of the Declaration of Independence on August 2, 1776. This once-in-a-generation program will feature speakers, living history, community participation, and a ceremonial signing event at Perry’s Monument.

World’s Largest Rubber Duck Returns – July 10–12, 2026
The popular World’s Largest Rubber Duck will make its return to Put-in-Bay for a special weekend display. Visitors can enjoy photo opportunities with the over 60-foot-tall inflatable artwork, with a Sneak Peek on July 10 ahead of the full weekend event.
Display times, location, and supporting activities will be announced this spring.
